Lost on a Mountain in Maine

The book i've started reading is lost on a mountain in Maine. So far it's about Donn Fendler and his family hiking Mt. Katahdin. Donn, Mr. fendler and Henry are at the summit and decide to wait for a man they see in the fog. Donn doesn't want to wait so he starts heading down but takes the wrong trail and gets lost. This relates to my life because this summer I'm hiking Mt. katahdin with my mom and my uncle.
