Lost on a mountain in Maine

As i read i began to think of this summer because i am hiking the same mountain that Donn got lost on. But i am going with some people that know to the mountain so i don't think i have to worry about getting lost. I am also hiking Mt. Washington this summer so i think it will be a little more challenging, last year when my mom was hiking they saw 3 bears on the trail. So i think that would be cool.

    We've hiked Katahdin in dense fog (we actually took some of the trails in the book) and I can see how easy it is to get lost! Great book, I read it after we first went to Baxter. But I disagree that Mt. Washington is more challenging!! : ) Have fun hiking...be careful

    I have hiked Mt Washington many times. Each hike was a completely different experience. But all were fun... except for the bears!!!
